Economic Affairs
Economics are important, as much for you as any random citizen. Many people think that economics is about money: the price of milk, your neighbour’s income and how much tax he did not pay. That is partly true, but economics is also about something else: the question of how to organize a society given the fact that we are not in a heavenly world where everything is in abundance and everyone is one hundred percent lucky.
In collaboration with Bas Haring, we used a national poster campaign to teach Dutch citizens a number of lessons about the economy. Instead of paying for the lessons, people could earn money by reading texts through our website.
